Annely Peebo (mezzo-soprano)

Annely Peebo is internationally acclaimed opera, oratorio and concert soloist. Since 1997 she works at the Vienna Volksoper as a soloist and in the same year debuted also at the Vienna State Opera.

Annely Peebo studied piano at the Viljandi Music School and choral conducting in Tallinn Music High School. She graduated from the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts (Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst) under Professor Gerhard Kahry.

Annely Peebo has worked with many opera houses, including Teatro La Scala (Milan), Teatro Massimo (Palermo), Teatro San Carlo (Naples), Teatro Carlo Felice (Genoa), Teatro Regio (Torino), the Finnish National Opera, Theatre “Estonia”, NCPA in Beijing and many others.

Annely has performed in many prestigious concert houses like Gewandhaus in Leipzig, Philharmonic Hall in Berlin, Beethovenhalle in Bonn, Liederhalle in Stuttgart, Wiener Konzerthaus, Wiener Musikverein, Munich Philharmon
